In this time, I would like to share the points that the RSP can be said as a successful RSP application. The RSP version is RSP 3.0 PL05.
The points that the RSP can be said successfully run are as follows:
1. The platform is successfully sent e-mail test to specified address
2. The platform is successfully performed the internet connection test
3. The platform is successfully performed the database connection test
4. The platform is successfully uploaded the system status report to register your RSP installation
5. The platform is successfully downloaded all the tasks from SAP Backend
6. The platform is successfully run all the tasks
7. The platform is successfully uploaded or transfer a database backup to SAP Back End
8. And other RSP benefits.
The steps to achieve all the above successful points are as follows:
A. All of Connection Tests should be succeeded, i.e.:
1. make sure the database server connection test is succeeded
2. make sure the test connection in the SAP Channel is successful
3. make sure the e-mail channel's send test e-mail is successful
B. Upload and Download
1. Make sure the free disk space for the folder used to upload and download are large so that the folders are able to store the downloaded files or to be uploaded files.
2. Set the correct Content Upload configuration
3. Set the correct Software Updates configuration
C. Backup Optimization
1. Set the backup Storages
2. Set the backup management --> backup Strategy --> Configure Strategy for All Databases
Notes:
1. To achieve the internet connection test, you must allows port 80 for the RSP external communication
2. Disabling antivirus firewall or add the RSP to the trusted zone of the antivirus, e.g. Kaspersky
3. Set the correct proxy
4. Disabling Windows firewall in the TP_link Wireless Configuration Utility
These sap notes are good references to troubleshoot or solve the RSP issues before escalating the issue to SAP GLobal Support:
